Pullulan Capsules

Pullulan is a water-soluble polysaccharide produced by fermentation of microorganisms, corn as raw material by microorganisms (Aureobasidium pullulans). It is tasteless, odorless and white powder.

Pullulan polysaccharide capsules are derived from polysaccharides, have high surface finish, and have good gel properties and compounding properties. They can be used alone as a soft capsule shell material, or can be compounded with starch or other edible gums to prepare soft capsules. It is currently recognized as a new material for ideal plant soft capsules.

Function: Dissolve and release the drug in the stomach, not absorbed by the intestinal tract, and can be excreted.

Advantages: Low oxygen permeability, easy to store. Good elasticity, not brittle, pure plant origin, good stability, no risk of animal disease, suitable for vegetarians.
