Dissolution Site:
Enteric capsules are resistant to stomach acid, but they are not anti-soluble for mixed digestive juices in the intestine. Therefore, enteric capsules will dissolve in the intestine, while gastric capsules are not acid-resistant, so they will dissolve in the stomach.

Cover Material:
Gastric-soluble coated materials include: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC), hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC), acrylic resin type IV, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and polyvinyl acetal diethylaminoacetic acid (AEA).
The coated materials for enteric-coated type include: shellac, cellulose acetate phthalate (CAP), acrylic resin type (I, II, III), and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate (HPMCP).
