Hard capsule: It is made by filling a solid drug into an empty hard capsule. The hard capsule has a cylindrical shape and is tightly fitted by two sections which are matched up and down. The size of the hard capsule is represented by a number, which can be selected according to the dosage of the medicine.

Soft capsule: Also known as a capsule, it is a round or oval preparation in which a liquid or a liquid drug or suspension which does not dissolve the capsule material such as gelatin is enclosed in a soft capsule. However, due to different preparation methods, there are two types: they are made by pressing method, and there are often pressure cracks in the middle, so they are called sewing glue pills; they are made by the drop method, which are spherical and seamless, so that they are seamless.
